My funky map appeared as if my magic this morning: I knew I had to sit down and prepare a map, to fulfill part of my certification training requirement for Permission Spoon Facilitation❀ (somehow I had totally missed the idea that we had homework last week – not so sure where my brain was at during THAT class!).
I was clearing out some painting boards and came across one that had already been primed with gesso … and I already had some gorgeous turquoise paint out, that I had been creating permission spoons with. Hmmm! A nice kind of ocean-map, maybe?
Make no mistake about it, there was no element of Vision at work this morning : purely working with Action and Intuition!
I also had a pile of images that I had cut out a while back, yet not filed away … so I scrabbled away in those and uncovered some super funky images that twinkled playfully at me, just begging to be used.
Now THIS is more like it. This is how I love to playfully create … just going with the flow, wherever it takes me.
Before I knew it, my map had been created – in little more than 7 minutes!
And so here is my Divine Timing Straits ocean-map, along with my musings.
First of all, I wanted to take a look at what the healing properties of the colour turquoise, as it is one of my most favourite colours at the moment. Interestingly, one of my favourite resource sites on colour healing shares that turquoise is a bridging color … higher heart, making contact with yourself, communication of the heart, creative communication, studying and gathering information, learning, unconditional love, self-respect, respect for all life, taking individual responsibility. It also shares that its good for healing burns and the immune system, which is great news as my body is feeling pretty depleted after being whacked by intense chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatments recently.
So needless to say, I was very happy with that as my base colour – thank you Intuition for stepping right up and weaving your magic for providing a beautiful base for my map.
What of the images?
From a business perspective and also from a personal perspective to some degree, at the moment I am going through a rapid period of transformation. Like a magpie, I am attracted by all things glittering and colourful which in many respects, take me away from concentrating and using my time wisely.
My map includes:
- the Divine Timing Straits which underpins the whole of my ocean-map
- a Confidence Channel, flowing in and betwixt Success, Coin Cove, the Isle of Heart-Centredness and my Time Tsunami Island
- a Sparkly isle in the shape of a lotus blossom
- a Super Stellar Isle, in the shape of a star
My Time Tsunami also has wings – for Time really does Fly when you are having fun!
What could all this mean?
For me, this map is a mere snapshot representation of where I find my Self right now : ever-flowing in the Divine Timing Straits, where my Success and my ability to drop anchor at Coin Cove is held within the Confidence Channel, which also beckons me to drop anchor at the Isle of Heart-Centredness as we ride on the waves of the Time Tsunami.
My Sparkly Isle represents the all-new, super-shiny Callie which is emerging from Confidence Channel; perhaps not quite as stylishly as Bo Derek infamously did, in the film 10, but still with as much grace as I can gather!
In the Divine Timing Straits are glitter pearls, signifying an abundance of fishes swimming in the ocean of Divine Timing Straits … heading for my True North, the Super Stellar Isle where my Dream Life of Play is beckoning, if only I gift my Self permission to be there.

KEY INSIGHTS – Mass communication. Communication through art and all other kinds of creative expression. Two key issues of the Aquarian age are individual responsibility, which must happen first in order for the 2nd key to express, which is humanitarian independence.
METAPHORIC VIEW – Turquoise is the color of Atlantis in terms of the ancient wisdom, technology and the art of that time, and as such stands for the sea (the unconscious). POSSIBLE TURQUOISE ISSUES – Unable to communicate emotions. Fear of expressing oneself in front of a group of people. Inability or resistance to learn computer technology. Pessimism. Out of touch with creative expression.
SPIRITUAL BODY MEANING – Serenity. Peacefulness. Humanitarian independence. The green in turquoise grounds psychic seeing in the heart, and then clear seeing (blue) can result. Responsibility for oneself, as in learning. The turquoise teaches the heart the right direction. The love and beauty in green expressing through the power of blue to create the new transcendental heart called Ananda Khanda.
MENTAL BODY MEANING – To trust intuition. Extremely adaptive and efficient. Utopian outlook. Idealism. Teaching through mass communication and foreign languages. Talents for technical things. Attitude of self reliance.
EMOTIONAL BODY MEANING – Intuition having to do with feeling and knowingness. All the emotional domain, and its “expression” (the emotions themselves are in yellow and orange). Sympathy and empathy. Optimism. Childlike in the positive sense of the word. When imbalanced: Technophobia (fear of handling electronic apparatus) versus a talent for it.
