Here in London we are in the midst of constant hustle-bustle as England gears up for the London 2012 Olympics. I have no idea why they call it the London 2012 Olympics as a lot of the venues and events are spread out all across the United Kingdom … hmmm!
As an adopted Londoner, I am getting myself ready for a couple of quiet weeks while the Olympics are on : travel into my Beloved City will be a nightmare, so I will content myself with enjoying watching my favourite sports on TV and then toddling into the City to watch the Volleyball and Football events (the only ones we were fortunate enough to win in the disastrous Olympic Ticket Not-S0-Lucky-Dip!).
So I have already set my playfull goals for August : they are primarily self-nurture goals, including designating August a month of self-directed learning. Time to collect those texts that have been gathering dust, bring them into the shady garden and teach myself lots of new tricks and techniques which I can share with others. I also hope that a few OOAK owls may like to be born in the summer months, too – whilst my mind relaxes and I experience time in it’s truest sense, I know that magical things will be born and I am so excited about what the coming months will be bringing to CreaTEAvity – and you!!
While I am off visiting the wonderful Penny Brohn Cancer Care Centre for a few days’ retreat, there are a few goodies that are just too good not to remind you of … so here they are.
