Wow wow wow! What an incredible ride we all seem to have been on these last few weeks … the Summer Solstice (21st June) in the Western hemisphere seemed to kick it all off and since then it’s been a real rollercoaster ride, from what I’ve been hearing … *phew* can we take a deep breath in, just hold on to this precious moment?
Oh yayy, that’s better!
Happy Independence Day to all our dear readers in the US, today *wave* … and the Full Moon today is promising yet more shake-ups and shake-downs. According to Mandi, a dear friend of mine who is also known as AstroAir, today’s full moon offers us all an opportunity to “… see more easily where you need to let go of old dreams and also when to hold onto dreams that are still valid, but need to be adapted so they better suit who and where you are now. You may even find that you have already made your dream come true ...”
Perhaps we could all do with some time out to revisit and rediscover our dreams?
For me, these past few weeks have been all about rediscovery : even last week’s “The Artist’s Way” tasks reminded me of the importance of rediscovery! I was working on Week 9 – Recovering a Sense of Compassion – and one of the tasks was to read through all our previous Morning Pages : it is amazing what you uncover and rediscover when you read when accompanied with fresh eyes and two different highlighter pens! (By the way, I am talking about The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron – great book).
The reason I am running a couple of weeks’ late for the Time for a Cup of CreaTEAvity newsletter is because it’s been a really, super-busy time – with fun, frolics and hard work and serious thinking-time!!
I was very fortunate in being able to see His Holiness, the Dalai Lama, when he visited London mid-June. I trotted off to the Royal Albert Hall in London, all by myself and was mesmerised by seeing this incredibly wise soul with my very own eyes. OK, so I was seated up with the pigeons in the rafters of the Royal Albert Hall but I was still in his presence … and what a presence it was. I came home full-to-the-brim with love and compassion, even for those who stepped hard on my toes on the Tube …
It also is something of an end of an era for me, right now … I received excellent personal news on Wednesday 27th June, that I was officially in remission : thank you, dear Tama, for reminding me of reframing it to re-mission! Last Saturday, I hosted a small Peacock Celebration Tea-Party for the very close friends and family who supported me and my Beloved during the dark days last year : we held a wish-tree ceremony, hanging wishes from our apple tree which was a wonderful touch to a transformational year where I stepped into my power as a Warrior Goddess *giggle*
From a business perspective, I was overjoyed to experience the 7 Graces Global Conference in London – both in person (Friday and Sunday) and via the Livestream facility on Saturday. Wow, we started a REAL movement on the Sunday and I had a whale of a time acting as Chat Facilitator, with excellent interaction from those listening in via Livestream. If you missed the 7 Graces Global Conference, there’s no need to worry or miss out : you can go along and sign-up to get access to all the recordings over at 7 Graces of Marketing.
Continuing with the theme of Rediscovery, it was also time to end my 3-month experience with the Mapping & Mentoring with Marney program which was a real eye-opener; working together in a group of six creative business owners/entrepreneurs (hi, my gorgeous fellow cARTographers!) it was a truly amazing period of discovery and rediscovery, personal and business-wise, and now I am ready to fly high and transform my dreams of CreaTEAvity into a reality, and shape her into a magnificent support and play-portal.
So yes, please keep a lookout over the coming months as I unveil exciting new programs, playshops and news of awesome playfull retreats *hurrah* and don’t forget, let me know what you have been up to!
